1. Role and Responsibilities
Kyle Hui is the founder of AskStar and the designated reviewer of the site's interpretive content. The on-page review statement on knowledge-base pages (reviewer name and review date) is applied by him after a page-by-page manual review.
Review scope: checking that metaphysical terminology is accurate, that arguments are consistent with the classical sources, that interpretations are consistent with the chart data the computation engines produce, and that no unsupportable claims are made.
The review stamp is fail-closed by design: the moment a page's content is regenerated, its stamp is voided and removed until the page is re-reviewed — unreviewed pages carry no review claim at all.
2. How AskStar Works
AskStar is a platform that combines Western astrology, Zi Wei Dou Shu (紫微斗數), and BaZi (八字). Charts and calendrical data are computed by deterministic engines — Western astrology via the Swiss Ephemeris, BaZi and solar terms via lunar-javascript — independently of any AI output.
AI is invoked only after the deterministic computation is complete, drafting interpretive text under anti-fabrication constraints; the founder reviews each page by hand, and only pages that pass review carry the on-page review statement. This is the process the reviewer named here is responsible for.
To see how the content he reviews is computed and generated, see the Methodology page. For the review process and corrections policy, see our Editorial Standards.
